Highest-rated Riverfront RV Resort
Our majestic Kings River RV Resort is the highest-rated riverfront RV resort of its kind in the Western United States. Come, experience our quiet, scenic grounds covered in mature shade trees with 188 full hookup sites with 55 marina or river front sites, 14 covered pull thru sites with most large enough to accommodate larger RV models with multiple slide-outs. 30 and 50 amp electric service is provided for the RV with every RV site with a metered 50 amp plug for your EV vehicle.
Meet Arthur & Carrie Garland
Arthur and Carrie Garland have been married for 22 years and are the proud parents of six children, ages 11 to 18. Before becoming the operating managers of Kings River RV Resort, Arthur managed a large corporation while Carrie devoted her time to raising and homeschooling her children. Although their lives were full and meaningful, Arthur often found himself missing everyday moments, special events, and family activities.
Determined to spend more time together, the Garlands made a life-changing decision in early 2020. They sold their home, Arthur left his corporate career, and the family purchased a large travel trailer. Over the following year, they traveled across several states, creating unforgettable memories and embracing a new way of life.
In late 2021, the Garland family arrived at Kings River RV Resort. Convinced that this lifestyle was the right fit for their family, they accepted the opportunity to manage the resort. Since then, Arthur and Carrie, alongside the resort owners, have worked diligently to create a welcoming destination that is safe, peaceful, family-friendly, and filled with opportunities for fun and connection.
Every amenity, activity, and common area has been thoughtfully considered with families in mind. Arthur and Carrie understand firsthand the value of quality time together, and they strive to create an environment where guests can build lasting memories with their loved ones.
When they’re not working around the resort, Arthur and Carrie and their children enjoy spending time outdoors, being on the water, playing pickleball, and making meaningful memories from life’s everyday moments.
About the Owners
We are lifelong tent and RV campers and Sierra Club members and love the outdoors. We have been involved in the RV park and campground industry for 40 years and also own Sacramento Shade RV Park, Auburn Gold Country RV Park, Silver City RV Resort, and Reflection Lake RV Park.
Being from Southern California, we were used to our boater friends going to the Colorado River. When we asked our Socal guests why they visit Kings River instead of the Colorado River, they said because of the 26 acres of green grass and trees.
And for that same reason we now have a second home at Kings River and also love the surrounding stone fruit orchards, the most delicious corn stand, the Swedish village of Kingsburg, the slower pace and great people in the valley, visits to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks each summer, and of course, swimming, floating, boating, and jet skiing in the Kings River!

Centrally-located Central Valley boasts huge stretches of California’s world-famous farms, ranches, and vineyards. The city of Fresno is just 20 miles north with its own international airport. Kings River RV Resort is located just 3 miles east of Golden State Highway 99 at exit 112 (CA 201) about 14 miles north of Visalia. We’re on Road 28, through the Swedish town of Kingsburg. Just follow the signs to Kings River RV Resort and you’ll be in RV paradise!
